The Pornhub Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes and celebrates the contributions of an individual who has made an unparalleled impact on the adult industry and the community surrounding it.
For the 6th Annual Pornhub Awards, we will be commemorating the legacy of the late Cecilia Gentili, a pioneering Trans activist and unwavering champion for sex worker rights. Cecilia will be granted the Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously, as she passed away on February 6, 2024, leaving the nation mourning the loss of one of the Trans community's fiercest champions.
Cecilia was a Trans woman who was born in Argentina and relocated to New York City. After working as a sex worker, she went on to hold leadership positions at several LGBTQIA2+ HIV/AIDS care nonprofits. Her work did not stop there. She set up Cecilia’s Occupational Inclusion Network (COIN), a free clinic for sex workers within Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, working to ensure her community’s access to healthcare, regardless of their ability to pay. Additionally, in 2019, she co-founded DecrimNY, an organization which successfully repealed the "Walking while Trans law" in New York City, a policy which unfairly targeted Trans and BIPOC sex workers. Cecilia devoted herself to combating the stigma and discrimination surrounding sex work and tirelessly fought to secure their rights to safety, healthcare, and fair treatment. Her memoir, Faltas, won the 2023 American Library Association’s Stonewall Book Award for nonfiction.
She was an advocate for the Transgender community, sex workers, and marginalized people everywhere. She was an artist, author, steadfast activist, a skilled lobbyist, and a mentor. She championed the community she loved, actively challenging unjust policies and working towards providing a safer future for sex workers and Trans people in America.

To celebrate Cecilia's legacy, Pornhub will be making a charitable donation to her namesake program at the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, Cecilia’s Occupational Inclusion Network (COIN).
The 6th Annual Pornhub Awards will be announced online the evening of March 28, 2024, at the official Pornhub Awards site.
